From Moorish Architecture to White villages this region comes alive with fiestas and festivals during parts of our trip. Learn Street Portrait, Landscape Photography and advanced editing techniques. This itinerary is time specific to some amazing festivals that really show off the beauty of Southern Spain.

Being of Spanish decent and fluent in the language, it is always a pleasure to explore my heritage and share it with you. My experiences are in very small groups of up to 4 people. My main point of difference is I mentor my customers for life. Join me on this learning adventure of a lifetime.

Day 1 - Madrid Photo Walk - Highlights include Old Madrid back streets riddled with gastronomic delights. Centuries old buildings and lush green gardens along with street portraits the full day stroll promises to unravel Madrid's charming secrets.

Day 2 - Sevilla by train (City Photo Walk) Arriving just in time for lunch in the heart of Andalucia. Plaze Espana is this grand half-circle of buildings edge of the Parque de Maria Luisea was Spain’s main pavilion during the 1929 World Fair.  Another great spot is Espacio Metropol Parasol & Las Setas - A modern addition to the city, this canopy above the Encarnacion Market is a stunning structure for photographers. The Metropol Parasol has impressive views over the city at sunset.

Day 3 - Sevilla (Photo Walk) Street Portraits and Architecture combine perfectly for a day walk in Barrio Santa Cruz. This medieval Jewish quarter is a lovely, whitewashed tangle of alleys with bars, antique and souvenir shops and quiet residential homes. Sevilla Cathedral from the outside is an impressive piece of ornate architecture with countless buttresses at dizzying heights.

Day 4 -  El Rocío Pilgrimage or Romería de El Rocío 2019

A small village of 700 residents comes to life with a million of flamboyant pilgrims and their frantic celebration of the Virgin of el Rocío.

This vibrant pilgrimage is definitely something unique to behold. Female pilgrims are wearing flamenco-styled dresses, males—wide-brimmed boleros, riding jackets and "traje corto". Many are riding horses, while others move on colourful carriages.

Day 5 -  Vejer De La Frontera (City Photo Walk) winner of the First National Embellishment Award in 1978, Vejer de la Frontera's most stunning feature is the Arab-Andalusian popular architecture.The town sits on a hill, a few kilometres away from the coast, and from it the visitor can have a magnificent panoramic view. The walled enclosure and the historic quarter, with its narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses, are a gorgeous sight.

Day 6 & 7 -  Ronda (City Photo Walk) Puente Nuevo is the top destination in Ronda. The bridge reaches a height of 100m, with its base deep in the base of the gorge and the Guadalevín river. Travel in time to the Romantic Ronda that will take place this year between May 23 and 27. Five very important days in tourism in Ronda since both citizens and many visitors move to those historical moments in which the first editions of the Royal May Fair were held, back in the sixteenth century.

During this party, in Ronda you can enjoy the cattle, equestrian exhibitions and especially taste the most emblematic products of the area (wines, sausages, cheeses etc.), buy in the market of agro-food and artisan time, enjoy with the parades and an endless number of other activities that will take us back to other time.

Day 8 -  Cordoba (City Photo Walk) Highlights include the Roman bridge at sunset. This ancient bridge still stands on its original first century AD foundation, pointing a direct path to the Mezquita. La Mezquita Cathedral and Mosque are best seen early morning to beat the crowds. Another must see destination is Alcazar De Los Reyes Gardens built by Alfonso XI in 1328, the Alcazar is a Mudejar style palace with splendid gardens.

Day 9 - Toledo is an incredibly cultural city; it has seen numerous different cultures and dynasties pass through its walls, as well as wars, royalty, and artists. The legacy that it guards is an essential part of Spanish culture, so visiting Toledo is bound to be a very unique experience. Surrounded on three sides by the Tago River, Toledo is known as the city of the three cultures because of the strength of its Christian, Muslim and Jewish influences. Situated in central Spain in the region of Castilla-La Mancha, Toledo is one of Spain’s World Heritage Cities, and the walled Old Town is packed with history.

Day 10 - Consuegra Windmills and drive back to Madrid. This is where Cervantes the writer was inspired to write Don Quixote.
